By the local store, I think you are referring to places like Officeworks, Harvey Norman and similar. The paper and process used DOES NOT produce archival, non fade and colour corrected images.

So the answer is simple – Quality.

Quality prints equals more expensive prints. It’s like the difference between a cheeseburger and a steak.

Let’s break it down further, as to why our prints are far superior.

First – The Quality of the paper.

The paper stocks are all acid-free and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which means not only are they good for the planet, they also produce a printed product that won’t decompose or discolour with age.

Second – The Process

How a print is created is of utmost importance. Using only the best liquid-ink digital printing technology enables fantastic color and print quality, with consistent results.

The ink binds itself to the fibers of the paper, rather than sitting on top as with toner based printers, this means the paper chosen will retain its physical characteristics (whether textured, coated, or un-coated).

Third – The Weight and Feel of the Paper

All papers used feel good to hold and touch. They are thick from 135gsm to 260gsm for Photo Book/Album’s, and available in Semi-Gloss, Satin, Matt, Textured, Matt Ivory or High Gloss. All acid free and archival quality.

In Summary

Using quality archival materials the photo is printed on a base that will not breakdown and react with the environment.  Combined with the use of superior inks, the image will be fade resistant and even last 200 years under normal household conditions away from direct sunlight.

Our brand is determined by the quality of the prints, long after the photographs are taken.

We want your photos to be as vibrant and colourful as the day you received them, years and years in the future. They are an investment in your life story.

You will never have to look at faded memories again.
